This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
I went to upload my film on DA, but it wouldn't give me options for the preview image, and the one it randomly chose was a point in the film that was basically a black screen. The fAQ says that there are supposed to be arrows in the upload page for me to pick which set of frames I use for the film, but they were not there. Is this a setting that has changed, but the info on it has not been updated, or was that feature completely removed? Does anyone know?

Hello, I'm going around DA looking for cosplays with nicely done make up for a Cosplay make up 101 panel. Would I be able to use some of your photos in the presentation? If you aren't interested that's okay, just let me know and if you are, let me know how you'd like to be credited.
I love your work so much! I applied to calarts for fall 2013. I hope to get into the character animation program. How is calarts? How was your first year like?
Thank you so much! Good luck on your application! Calarts is great! It's a lot of work, and sometimes it's hard to get into the classes you want, but it's good. My first year was busy, and at times stressful and difficult, but still great. Second year is even better!
Thank you for the encouragement. I am excited! I hope I get in, it seems like a great environment and the people I have met so far are very nice. I don't mind the challenge, it pumps me up.
Out of curiosity, what is the best part about Calarts in your opinion?
This is my portfolio that I submitted in case your interested
Yeah, and did you start off with fine art and then digress or? btw i adore your video, i hope you make more of those two characters one day theyre so cute
I guess it was something I was always kind of into, may dad and I watched a lot of cartoons together, and he showed me how to do stop motion when I was in first or second grade, using some toy dinosaurs I had, so it's always kind of been a part of me. It wasn't until like middle school that I started really drawing seriously and thinking about it as a carreer, though. I guess I started with fine art (or as fine art as it can be when you're in high school) and illustrative stuff, and then moved into doing more animation-oriented stuff once I got to Calarts. Sometimes it's hard to find the balance between fine art, and animation art. At least for me it is. And thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it! I'd never thought of doing more with them, but maybe someday!
